“John Rambo” the movie comes to theatres on the 25th of Janurary (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462499/) , but is Sly too old to play an action hero? Sly is now in his 60s so you can imagine the kind of trouble that could be brewing in the nursing home. Perhaps there’s a corrupt condo board and they’re stealing the monthly dues to invest in personal cruises. Then Sly takes his revenge upon them when he……writes a letter of complaint with the condo board!
He could also just be passing through a small time nursing home, a vagrant in a hoverround. “We don’t like your kind around here, perhaps I can push you to the edge of the home grounds”.
John Rambo is a real actor (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2833095/), I wonder if he should play himself? Well, John Rambo did give an interview with Larry King the other day and I have the transcript below.
Larry King: So, tonight we have a very special guest who is here to talk about his retirement and the killing of Cambodian refugees, Mister John Rambo. How are you John?
John Rambo: I’m fine sir
Larry King: You’ve been through a lot. You’ve been in Afganistan, in Vietnam, and even blew up a small town. What do you think is next or do you have anything to say to your fans?
John Rambo: Murdock. I’m comming for you…
Larry King: I thought that you already killed Murdock?
John Rambo: Oh, right, that’s just my alzheimers…
Larry King: So, you’ve had a few love interests like Co and Sarah but you never seem to hook up. What’s the deal?
John Rambo: I’m gay for Trautman, sir.
Larry King: So John, I hear that you’re getting your own daytime talk show. Tell us how that’s going and what types of topics you will cover?
John Rambo: Yes sir, ’The John Rambo Show’ will be on ABC weekdays from 3pm to 4pm just before Oprah and replacing Rachael Ray as she will move to an eariler time slot. The show will just be about different things that affect our daily lives as Americans in the world. My first show we will talk to Vietnam POW survivors and their experiences during and after the war. The second show we will focus on Vietanam POW survivors from Hanoi and my third show we will talk to a bunch of Vietnam POWs from Son Tay. We basically have a whole season planned out and we encourge any Vets to write in for new topics to cover.
Larry King: Sounds interesting John and I would like to thank you for taking some time out from your daily routine to come talk to us.
